Men have been and are continuously being misled by the media, advertising companies, historical narratives, governments, culture, religion, etc. They have lost complete sense of what it is to be a man, and the responsibilities that come with this. Manhood has become a great fantastical meme. Most male role models are like cartoon characters, completely surreal, unrelatable to your average person, who then looks up to them like godlike figures.
The capacity to be a vehicle of Life is endowed to all men, whether they have so called good or bad genes. To be an amazing life-changing lover is not something available to a few select men who are favoured by the gods. This is total nonsense, and this confusion prevents men from discovering a greater potential that lives inside of themselves. It blinds them and keeps them meek, always striving to become something they are not, rather than to discover what they were designed to be.
How do you accomplish this?
The first step in reclaiming our manhood is by undertaking a healing journey. A journey which takes us back to the root of ourselves, as men, beneath our cultural conditioning and all the facades we use in everyday life to survive and function. This is what Health is truly about. Health means re-establishing a connection with ourselves first, second with the world around us, and lastly and most importantly, to the Great Cosmos that hosts our Existence. Without these connections, we are lost, and our lives have no meaning nor any direction. We spend our lives simply surviving, chasing empty things while the inner void keeps growing and growing, as we get sicker and sicker.
Ironically, the pinnacle of manhood has been associated with financial success, fancy cars and beautiful women. However, what is the meaning of any of these things if internally, there is emptiness, purposelessness, and no genuine sense of value nor satisfaction.
Why is it that we continually praise external markers of success without ever considering what actually matters, which is internal wellbeing and harmony? The actual sanity of man?
Rather, it would make more sense for a man to first “find” himself and discover the answers to the most basic questions before “acting out” and chasing the things of this world. The material world is meant to serve us, not the other way around, but if you do not have a sense of self, then you must give yourself to the material world to define who you are.
But any intelligent person will quickly realize that this is a failing strategy. Youth is ephemeral. Strength disappears with age, and sooner or later, we will all perish, so how can we define ourselves with external things when they are not ours to keep and cannot in any way fulfill us.
Generally, when people speak this way, the more materialistic-oriented people turn away, thinking that by having an inner life, one cannot also have an outer life filled with the best of what this world has to offer.
In Tantra, all shaktis or powers are respected, from the most subtle to the grosser energies, nothing is to be excluded, however, why would I limit myself and my human experience to only one small current of possibility, when I could have access to them all, while remaining composed, calm and centered, and not losing my own soul in the process?
The journey of manhood must begin by rediscovering who you truly are, beneath the facades and all the make belief. What is it to be a man? What is the power endowed to him? For what great purpose and by whom? These are the fundamental questions we must answer if we aspire to live a life of full-ness and harmony.
The world of Tantra doesn’t exclude any bandwidth. It organizes everything by placing at the very center of Life the Golden thread which creates order and gives meaning to all.
I find it disappointing to witness so many “manosphere” teachers presenting such a limited model or understanding of masculinity and Life. I do not wish to criticize but I must be honest.
There is more to life than muscles, money, cars and banging ho’s. There is more to life than building a successful business and buying toys. These are barely scratching the surface of the human experience. Yet most men who claim to live to their full potential content themselves with barely 5% of their divine inheritance, simply because they deny, out of fear, the existence of the more subtle dimensions of Life.
On the other hand, I am not at all denying the importance of material wealth, fitness and enjoying the things of this world, I make use and enjoy them for what they are, but they represent such a small parcel of Life. Making them the entire focus of one’s attention would be like focusing on the box of your new Apple computer. It’s a very pretty box, I know, but there is an extremely powerful machine on the inside, if you dare to open it up. If you can access it, it will revolutionize your life.
The purpose of the Anaami Project is to help men open or unlock their Humanbook Pro box. Unfortunately, contrary to a new sealed Apple computer, our box has been infiltrated by filth and toxicity, so there is lots of cleaning, remedying and rebuilding that needs to be done to access the full potential of our “Computer.” For those who wish to access their masculine potential, that is the only way to go. For those who wish to experience life to the fullest, you will have to dive deeper within and discover who you really are, and what Life is really all about, while at the same time fulfilling your function within the context of modern life.
Self realization (knowing who you truly are) and self-actualization (expressing yourself through intentful action in order to better the world) are two sides of the same coin.
